Superzilla is made from natural based products (plants) because they are superior at cleaning, lubricating, and penetrating the smallest areas. In addition, plant materials are safer for human use and will bio-degrade quicker and more naturally back into the environment.

While many products claim they are "green", Superzilla is one of the few products that is certified by the United States Department of Agriculture as BioPreferred. Under this program a product must pass testing by the one lab approved by the U.S.D.A. to test for biobased materials and water doesn’t count. Biobased products are commercial or industrial products (other than food or feed) that are composed in whole, or in significant part, of biological products, renewable agricultural materials (including plant, animal, and marine materials), or forestry materials. Superzilla passed with an 80% BioPreferred material rating.

For safety the federal government regulates shipping, storing, and using hazardous materials. These materials are regulated to protect people, living organisms, property, and the environment. Superzilla meets the federal government regulations as a non-hazardous formula.

If you are looking for a "green" and "safe" product look for the U.S.D.A. BioPreferred Logo and look for the words "non-hazardous formula."
